Cami is an actress and production designer from Chile, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts. In 2018, she relocated to New York, where her career evolved from acting to working behind the camera in the art department. She began as an assistant and, through continued experience and growing responsibilities, advanced to Art Director on a reality TV series—where she discovered her passion for creating and crafting for the frame.
She has worked across narrative film, television, and documentary. Most recently, she served as a Prop Assistant on a feature film set in 1969 in a small coastal town in Chile, centered around Chilean poet and Nobel Prize laureate Pablo Neruda, produced by Fabula and Netflix. Prior to that, she worked as Set Decorator on a short film directed by Diego Céspedes that was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2019, she was the Art Director for a documentary on solitary confinement, produced on a constructed set.
From 2024 to 2026, Cami was the Prop Room Manager at the New York Film Academy, where she developed a streamlined organizational system and supported students in their production design process—advising on furniture layout, prop selection, and safe equipment handling. During this time, she also worked as a Production Designer on several plays and film projects, leading concept development, décor, and staging.
Most recently, she served as Props Designer and Stage Dresser for a theater festival produced by the Atlantic Theater Company, working across four productions: Stupid Fucking Bird, Dance Nation, Top Girls, and Everybody, creating distinct visual worlds for each piece.
Cami is currently available and open to new projects and opportunities.
